Many of Our valuable chess set pieces designs are under copyright act where we do not accept that any other online chess store is selling similar copied design which is produced by The Chess Empire. We may take strongest action for avoiding the copyright act. Risk of Loss

All items purchased from The Chess Empire are made pursuant to a shipment contract. This means that the risk of loss and title for such items pass to you upon delivery to the carrier.

Disclaimer of Warranties and Limitation of Liability

The Chess Empire also offers the warranty of all the chess products where we allow you to check your received order and if any variation from the commitment by The Chess Empire quality product then we are fully responsible to replace you those particular pieces or the entire purchase under return policy. We allow you to 30 days return and any replacement of your purchase. If any of products is damaged by customer due to any reason will not cover any warranty or The Chess Empire will not be responsible for that damage or loss. For our Rare prestige collection chess set pieces we offer the Lifetime Warranty to all our customers.

Return order with no reason: If the customer wants to return the order for any reason (Within 30 Days) then the customer has to take the responsibility to return the product safely to us and pay the freight for return. We are using tropical and seasoned woods for chess boards and chess pieces manufacturing but all these woods can warp, crack, shrink or wobble so we request our customers to return the product and inform us asap. The product must reach us safely for easy refund process or exchange any damage may cause applicable charges depends of damage or used.

Chess Board: The Chess Empire is making all the chess boards in different woods and we are not making veneer chess boards. We are using different tropical woods like Sheesham, Rosewood, Padauk, Ebony, Purple heart and Canadian Maple. These all woods we dry for six months and then we use them in process. These woods are natural and we do not use any chemicals or any process to change their natural beauty of grains. The wood we are using to manufacture the luxury chess boards can also warp, shrink, crack and wobble. Especially the Ebony wood which cracks, shrink and warp very fast compare to all other woods and that is a sign of Genuine Ebony. The Chess Empire is using natural woods and we cannot control on the crack, shrink, wobble and warp as well no formula and no process has been discovered to stop cracking and shrinkage for the natural woods.

Refund Policy

Contact customer service at info@thechessempire.com or 0091 98146 53701 to receive a Return number from us with detailed instructions on processing your return of merchandise. Return number is must be included in the returned package for faster processing and if the return is made without our knowledge or return number will not be accepted.

The returns for refunds are only accepted within 30 days of product receiving date, and the items must be unused/unmodified, in original condition and packaging. Make sure you have not used the product and all parts and accessories are repackaged in the original box. If the item has been altered in any way that has affected the quality or damage, it will not qualify for refund. Refunds are issued in the original form of payment. Shipping fee is not refundable. All refunds are issued within 3-4 business days after receiving the item exactly same as dispatched. Once issued, you will receive your funds back into your account within 2-3 business days - depending on your bank's operation system. The Chess Empire will issue refunds only to customers who have purchased through www.thechessempire.com web store. The Chess Empire could hold restocking fee if there are missing parts or accessories.

Shipping Policy

All orders are processed and shipped within 1-2 business days. Once processed and shipped, you will be notified with a tracking number. You may track your package using the information provided.

Adult signature is required upon delivery.

The Chess Empire is using the FedEx , DHL, UPS and Indian Postage service for the fastest delivery according to the best service. The Chess Empire is not responsible for delay in delivery due to custom clearance or any other issue with the delivery service provider. We are not responsible for the delivery updates they make on their end. Expect delivery delays due to holidays and weather conditions. The estimated time for standard First Class shipment is 5-7 business days. All orders are shipped from our factory from Indian. Therefore, it will take longer time in transit, custom clearance for purchases that will get delivered.

In the event of lost packages, please contact the delivery company with your tracking number. It could be possible that your package may be stuck at custom clearance.

Custom Clearance & Fees

All products prices on The Chess Empire Website include worldwide free shipping as well it includes all the Indian Customs, Freight Charges and packaging. The CUSTOMS CLEARENCE / VAT / IMPORT CHARGES are not included in our prices. The Buyer has to meet all the applicable documents, VAT and Import charges at the time of order entering to their countries. We are also not doing any under invoicing orders and it is against international online business. Again we want to clear our prices on The Chess Empire website does not IMPORT CHARGES/VAT/CUSTOMS CLEARENCE which has to be paid by Buyers.

International Shipments

The Chess Empire ships Worldwide. All orders are shipped using various fast services for International Parcels. Delivery time varies from once country to another. You will not be charged for shipping fee. Note that you, the customer, are responsible for any duties, taxes, VAT or clearance charges at your country. The amounts will vary from one nation to another. The delivery time will vary as well. You may need to contact your customs office to clear the package. .

Note: No orders are shipped during national holidays. You may still place the order online, but the orders are processed the following business day.
